For those who may not know VEVA, what is the mission behind the company?
At its core, VEVA exists to protect music, both creatively and historically. We work with labels, artists, producers, and engineers to securely preserve high-resolution audio, metadata, and credits so important recordings are never lost, and the people who helped create them are properly recognized. Music moves culture, and we believe preserving it matters
You’ve been part of VEVA since the beginning. What has that journey been like?
It’s been incredibly rewarding. We started with a vision that music deserved better stewardship, archiving, organization, and protection of master assets, and over time we’ve built trusted relationships across the industry. Watching that vision grow into something labels and creators genuinely rely on has been one of the great honors of my career.
What makes VEVA different?
We care deeply about getting it right. Whether it’s verifying master audio, preserving session files, organizing metadata, or helping creatives collect information while they create, our team approaches every project with precision and care. We understand these aren’t just files, they’re pieces of musical history.
VEVA works behind the scenes on major records. What does that responsibility mean to you?
It means trust and trust is everything. Artists and labels are entrusting us with some of their most valuable creative assets. We never take that lightly. Our job is to make sure what’s created today is preserved, protected, and accessible for decades to come.
VEVA has built an incredible reputation in the industry. What do you credit most for that success?
One thing I know for certain: I could never do this without our team.
We have some of the best audio engineers in the industry. What makes them exceptional isn’t just their technical skill, it’s how much they care. They treat every project with incredible attention to detail and a deep respect for the music itself. That passion and commitment are what built VEVA’s reputation.
I’m very proud of what we’ve created, but I’m even more proud of the people behind it. They’re the heart of VEVA.
You’re also building for the future with VEVA Collect. What excites you most about that platform?
VEVA Collect is about empowering creators. Historically, credits, metadata, and file management were often handled after the fact, or lost entirely in the process. We’re changing that by helping creatives collect important information while they create. That’s where our phrase ‘Collect While You Create™’ comes from. It’s about making good process part of creativity, not a burden after the music is finished.
What leadership philosophy has guided you?
I believe in building real relationships, staying steady, and doing excellent work consistently. Flash fades, substance lasts. I’ve always focused on integrity, trust, and creating something meaningful with a team of people who genuinely car
What inspired VEVA to build VEVA Collect?
For years, working closely with labels, artists, producers, and engineers, we saw the same challenge: important files, credits, metadata, and creative details were often scattered across links in emails, hard drives, texts, and countless session versions. Brilliant music was being created, but critical information around that music was too easily lost or disconnected along the way.
Because VEVA has always focused on audio preservation, organization, and verification, we realized we were uniquely positioned to solve that problem while the music was being made, not after it was finished.
That’s how VEVA Collect was born.
VEVA Collect was built to support the creative process from the very beginning, giving creators a secure place to manage files, share high-resolution audio, organize stems and sessions, and capture the metadata and credits that matter most, all in real time. Our philosophy is simple: Collect While You Create™. If we can make that process seamless, we protect not just the music, but the story, the collaborators, and the legacy behind it.
What’s next for VEVA?
We’re continuing to build tools that better serve both labels and creators while staying rooted in what we do best, protecting music and honoring the people behind it. There’s so much opportunity ahead, and I’m excited about what we’re building
